Video Transcript:
Step 1. Launch the Amazon app, and then tap the "Menu" icon at the bottom.

Step 2. Tap "Gift Cards and Registry" beneath Programs and Features in the menu.

Step 3. Tap your existing Amazon gift card balance in the "Your Gift Card Balance" field. A menu pops up at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4. Tap "Redeem an Amazon Gift Card" in that menu.

Step 5. You can either scan or enter your Amazon gift card code. In this example I'll enter it and then tap "Apply to Your Balance." The next screen will show you the total dollar amount that was added to your Amazon account, and your new Amazon gift card total balance.
