If someone is filling up your Gmail inbox and can't take the friendly hint that you don't want what they're selling, it may be time to just block them. Thankfully, Google makes blocking an email sender in Gmail easy.

Step 1. Launch the Gmail app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device, and then navigate to an email from the sender you want to block.

Step 2. Tap to open the email and see the message, and then tap the ellipses located directly above the email message to open a menu.

Step 3. Tap "Block" in this menu. A dialog box appears at the top of this message letting you know that all new messages from this person will be automatically sent to your spam folder.
