Remove a Profile Photo from your Google Account:
1. Go to the Home page of your Google Account https://myaccount.google.com
2. Once here, left click on "Personal Info"
3. Scroll all the way down until you see blue hyperlinked text that says 'Go to About Me" and left click on it.
4. Under Basic Info you should see "Profile Picture" left click on the arrow to the right of this text.
5. You will now see two options, option 1 is to change your profile picture and option 2 is to remove your profile picture
6. Select "remove"
You will now have successfully removed your profile photo and be left with the vanilla default text profile photo offered by Google.
Delete a Profile Photo from your Google Account:
1. Go to the Home page of your Google Account https://myaccount.google.com
2. Once here, left click on "Personal Info"
3. Scroll all the way down until you see blue hyperlinked text that says 'Go to About Me" and left click on it.
4. Under Basic Info you should see "Profile Picture" left click on the arrow to the right of this text.
5. At the very bottom you should then see "Album Archive" in blue hyperlinked text, left click on it.
6. You will then be taken to your own personal Album Archive, left click on Profile Photos and left click again on Profile Photos.
7. Select the profile photo(s) that you would like to delete from your Google Account.
8. Navigate to the top right hand corner to the three vertical dots and left click on it.
9. Choose delete photo
10. You will then receive a small notification that says "Delete this photo?" you will have two options, "Keep" or "Delete".
11. Select Delete and then refresh your Album Archive.
You have now have successfully permanently deleted your selected Google Account Profile Photo(s).
