This zip contains also a backup for restoring the sounds(putting back to the default sounds)

When you modify sounds in videogames(it depends) only you can hear it but other players won't hear the same sounds that you modified!


(I'm gonna try my best to explain)About modding sounds:

- I kinda recommend to use Audacity if you have another program that's ok i guess.

- Remember to export the sounds as the same type audio for instance
"ouch.ogg" and same bitrate as the original one(but that only applies to mp3's and other formats I think.

!!!!About modding the running sounds and swimming sounds which are very important these sounds!!!!:

- These sounds are in slow motion(slow speed and low pitch) but in game they sound in normal speed and normal pitch.
so in order to modify these 2 sounds (action_footsteps_plastic.mp3 and action_swim.mp3).
First, add the original track action_footsteps_plastic.mp3/action_swim.mp3 listen for a few times in order to understand how they work/sound,then you mute the original track and add another track(blank) then add the audio which you want to modify and keep in mind to not to reach to the limit because "action_footsteps_plastic.mp3" has 2 seconds playback and "action_swim.mp3" has 4 seconds playback. Hope that I explained well.

After you added the audio on the second track only without doing any modification(like editing the speed and pitch) export it after you done editing(by moving to the exact time when the audio starts playing) and then delete the second track. Readd a new track(blank) and insert the audio that you exported and after that you can finally change the speed and the pitch and respect the playback from the original track(1st track "action_footsteps_plastic.mp3"/"action_footsteps_plastic.mp3").

About the ouch.ogg It REALLY DEPENDS, and what do i mean by that?

- It depends how does it take to respawn in order to hear the modified death sound till the end so, It's up to you to make a simple calculation if you want a perfect death sound sync or sth.

If you are not satisfied with the mp3's original bitrates try with a bigger bitrate IF IT WORKS.

the "impact_water.mp3" "impact_explosion_03.mp3" "action_jump.mp3" "action_jump_land.mp3" and "ouch.ogg" are simple to edit(you don't have to change the speed and the pitch).
