This video will show you how to run Adobe (Macromedia) Flash Player applets and windows on an on-demand and individual basis in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox 19.0.2, and Opera 12.17 web browsers. The benefit of this is to avoid slowing down your browser and computer with videos and advertisements that automatically load and play on a web page, eating up valuable system and memory resources, and this way you only activate the windows and applets that you wish to and when you want to, keeping your computer and browser running fast.

This is done through altering the following options and settings:

In Google Chrome: Options ; Settings ; Advanced Settings ; Privacy ; Content Settings ; click LET ME CHOOSE WHEN TO RUN PLUGIN CONTENT

In Mozilla Firefox 19.0.2: Tools ; Options ; Advanced tab ; Update sub-tab ; click NEVER CHECK FOR UPDATES followed by OK ; then type in the address bar: about:config (followed by ENTER) ; bypass the warning by accepting ; search for: plugins.click_to_play ; right click on plugins.click_to_play and TOGGLE to TRUE

In Opera 12.17: Settings ; Preferences ; Advanced tab ; SECURITY (left side) ; select DO NOT CHECK FOR UPDATES followed by OK ; then CONTENT (left side) ; check ENABLE PLUG-INS ; check ENABLE PLUG-INS ONLY ON DEMAND ; click OK
