How to save your copy of Unreal Tournament 4

Steps to save your copy of Unreal Tournament 4 before Epic shuts the whole thing down January 24th 2023.

Step 1: Save your game files. If you have the game installed, copy and zip up backups since it's like the ones in your Epic Games folder will be removed.
Note: if you don't have the files yet, distributing the game is illegal, but they may be findable elsewhere on the internet. Ask around UT discords and forums and someone should have an answer for you I'm sure.
Step 2: Download and install UT4UU, discord here: https://discord.gg/2DaCWkK
Step 3: Tell UT4UU where your non-epic games folder is and bam, offline against bots UT4. Jury is out on connecting it to your epic account. That works for now, but might not work when they kill the backend.
Step 4: To save the map editor, just duplicate and save away a copy of the Unreal Editor folder in the same fashion. It should work as intended since it's just a standalone build of Unreal Engine.
Some of this might change, some of it might not work for everyone, but it's what my plan is to keep this great game alive, at least on my computer, and hopefully it helps you too.
