3To scan for antenna channels on an LG TV, follow these steps:
Connect the Antenna: Ensure your antenna is connected securely to the Antenna/Cable In port on the back of the TV.
Turn on the TV: Use the remote to power on the TV.
Access the Settings Menu:
Press the Settings button on your LG remote.
Navigate to All Settings (or Settings depending on your model).
Open Channel Settings:
In the All Settings menu, go to Channels (sometimes labeled as Channels and Inputs or Broadcasting).
Select Auto Tuning:
In the Channels menu, select Auto Tuning or Channel Tuning.
Choose Antenna or Air as the signal type if prompted.
Start the Scan:
Select Start or Next to begin scanning for available channels. The TV will search for and save any over-the-air channels it detects.
Complete and Save:
Once the scan is complete, you should see a list of available channels. Save the changes and exit the menu. You can now access your channels through the Channel Up/Down buttons on the remote.
