How to Connect to internet on LG TV with Wifi or LAN (Easy Tutorial)
To connect your LG TV to the internet using either Wi-Fi or a LAN (Ethernet) cable, follow these steps:
Connecting via Wi-Fi
Turn on the TV: Ensure your LG TV is powered on.
Open Settings:
Press the Settings button on your remote.
Go to All Settings (or just Settings on some models).
Select Network Settings:
Choose Network from the settings menu.
Select Wi-Fi Connection.
Choose Your Wi-Fi Network:
A list of available networks will appear. Select your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) from the list.
Enter Password:
Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted, using the on-screen keyboard.
Select Connect once the password is entered correctly.
Confirm Connection:
After a few moments, your TV should connect to the Wi-Fi network. You’ll see a “Connected” message when successful.
Connecting via LAN (Ethernet) Cable
Plug in the Ethernet Cable:
Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to your router and the other end to the LAN port on the back of your LG TV.
Turn on the TV.
Open Settings:
Press the Settings button on the remote.
Go to All Settings (or just Settings).
Select Network Settings:
Choose Network from the settings menu.
Select Wired Connection (Ethernet).
Automatic Connection:
The TV should automatically detect the Ethernet connection and connect to the internet. You’ll see a “Connected” message when successful.
