How to View which Apps use the Most Battery Life on Android Phone (Settings Tutorial)
To check which apps are draining your Android phone’s battery, follow these steps:
Open the Settings app.
Expand the Device or Device Care section.
Click on Battery.
Scroll down to see which apps are using up the most battery.
Tap on each app to view more details about how long the app was active in the background.
Additionally, here are specific instructions for Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices:
Samsung Galaxy:
Navigate to Settings - Battery and Device Care - Battery.
You’ll see a list of apps with their battery usage percentages.
Tap View Details to see a more comprehensive breakdown.
Google Pixel:
Open Settings - Battery.
Tap Battery usage.
Select any app to check its battery usage option (unrestricted, optimized, or restricted).
Remember that most apps are not actually “running” in the background; they become suspended after closing or completing tasks. Loading an app consumes more energy than resuming or unsuspending it
