How to Screen Mirror Android Phone to TCL TV (Google TV)
Screen mirroring your Android phone to a TCL Google TV is a seamless process, as Google TV has built-in Chromecast functionality. There's no need for extra apps or hardware in most cases.
The Easiest Method: Built-in Cast Function
This is the most direct and reliable way to mirror your screen. It works for all recent Android phones and TCL Google TVs.
Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network: Ensure your Android phone and your TCL Google TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This is the most critical step for the connection to work.
Enable Screen Casting on Your Phone:
Method A: Quick Settings (Easiest)
Swipe down from the top of your Android phone screen to open the Quick Settings panel.
Look for an icon labeled "Screen Cast," "Cast," "Smart View" (on Samsung phones), or "Wireless Display." It might be on the second page of your quick settings, so you may need to swipe left.
If you don't see the icon, you might need to tap the pencil icon to edit your quick settings and add it to the panel.
Method B: Settings Menu
Go to your phone's Settings.
Search for "Cast," "Screen Cast," "Wireless Display," or "Smart View." The name varies by phone manufacturer.
Select the appropriate option to begin casting.
Select Your TV: Once you enable screen casting on your phone, it will automatically search for available devices. You should see your TCL Google TV listed.
Tap on the name of your TCL Google TV to start the mirroring process.
Your phone's screen should now be mirrored on the TV.
