About this video: In this video, we show you how to setup Vein Miner on your Minecraft server. From how to download the Vein Miner plugin to how you can install Vein Miner on your server to then jumping in game and setting up Vein Miner, so you can destroy tons of blocks all at once, we really do cover it all in this video. So, let's jump right on into how you can add Vein Miner to your Minecraft server!
First and foremost, you need to download Vein Miner. You can find the official #VeinMiner download link in the description above. Once you are there, just click the blue ‘Download Latest File’ button in the top right to download the Vein Miner #Plugin for the most recent version of Minecraft.
Once you Vein Miner downloaded, install it is as easy as moving it to your server’s' plugins folder. After that, you are good to go! You can restart your server, and you have added Vein Miner to your server.
However, the real fun begins once your server restarts to generate the Vein Miner config.yml. You’ll find this in the ‘VeinMiner’ folder that has appeared in your plugins folder. After opening the config.yml, you can see all of the different options. For example, you can see the maximum size a tool can mine, the blocklist for each tool, and even the ‘activation mode’ for Vein Miner. By default, you can use Vein Miner on your server by crouching.
You can change the blocklist from the config.yml, but you can also change it in game with the /veinminer (blocklist) (too) add (blockid). This will add the block you want to the tool you selected. After that, do /veinminer reload to activate it. You can also remove blocks in game by replace ‘add’ in the above command with ‘remove’. Last, you can toggle Vein Miner on and off with the /veinminer toggle command. You can add a tool after the word toggle if you only want to turn Vein Miner on or off for a specific tool.
At this point, you know everything there is to know about how to add Vein Miner to a Minecraft server. We have went over installing Vein Miner to adding blocks to Vein Miner in addition to how you can turn Vein Miner on and off.
