The first set of getting mods for Minecraft 1.15.2 is downloading them. The biggest thing that you can do is ensure that you are downloading a mod that is compatible with Minecraft 1.15.2. You can check this on CurseForge by ensuring that the mod’s title has the version of 1.15.2 listed in it. If it does, you are good to download it.
Once you have your 1.15.2 mods downloaded, we need to download and install Forge. We don’t cover this in this tutorial because we have another tutorial going in-depth showing you every single step of getting Forge for Minecraft 1.15.2. You can find this tutorial linked in the description above.
After you have Forge installed, we can go ahead and install mods on Minecraft PC for 1.15.2. This is actually really simple. Start off by opening the Minecraft Launcher. Once you are there, click the little arrow to the left of the green ‘Play’ button, and click on the ‘Forge’ profile. If you don’t have Forge here, you need to install Forge 1.15.2. You must have Minecraft Forge installed for mods to work in Minecraft 1.15.2. After you have selected the ‘Forge’ profile, click the green ‘Play’ button. Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with Forge.
Click on the ‘mods’ button from the Minecraft main menu, and you will see a few things here. These are just required things for Forge. To install your own mods in Minecraft 1.15.2, we need to click on the ‘Open Mods Folder’ button in the bottom left of the screen.
When you click. on your open mods folder button, a folder will pop-up on your screen. This is your mods folder, and it is where all of your Minecraft 1.15.2 mods will be installed. How you do install them? Well, it is actually pretty easy. All you need to in order to install mods in Minecraft 1.15.2 is drag-and-drop them into this mods folder. Yep! You heard that right. Just drag-and-drop your Minecraft 1.15.2 mods into the mods folder, and you are done. It is that simple and that easy!
Well, you aren’t entirely done. You still need to close out of Minecraft 1.15.2, and open it again. Just be sure you select the Forge version like we did earlier. When you do that, Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with mods installed. This works for any 1.15.2 Minecraft mods that you want, so feel free to add as many mods as you want.
