About this video: In this video, we show you exactly how to download and install Forge for Minecraft 1.15.2. We go over every step of getting Forge starting off with downloading Forge from its website and ending once we are in Minecraft with the ability to add any 1.15.2 mods that you want! We even go over all of the common issues you may have when installing Forge such as Java issues or troubles with the installation process. We literally cover it all here, so let’s jump right on into how you can add Minecraft Forge to 1.15.2!
First off, let’s go ahead and download Forge for Minecraft 1.15.2. In the description above, you will find a link to download #Forge. When you click this, it will take you to our website. This is our text tutorial on getting Forge for 1.15.2. If we go too fast in this video, you can go at your own pace with our text tutorial. Once you are here though, you just want to click the green ‘Download Forge’ button. When you click this, it will take you off to the official website of #MinecraftForge.
On Forge’s official website, we need to make sure that the 1.15.2 version is selected. Do this by clicking on the ‘1.15.2’ drop down on the left-hand side of the screen. Then, click ‘1.15.2’. If this is already bold, that means the 1.15.2 version is already selected. All you need to do now is go under download latest, and click the ‘installer’ button. When you do this, you will be taken to AdFocus where you don't want to click anything on the page other than the red 'Skip Ad' button in the top right. When you do this, Minecraft Forge 1.15.2 will start downloading. All you need to do to finish the download is keep it in the bottom left of Google Chrome and save it in the center of your screen in Mozilla Firefox. It's safe to save/keep as long as the file starts with 'Forge' and ends with '.jar'.
Now that you have Forge downloaded, it is time to get it installed in Minecraft 1.15.2. This is actually pretty easy. Find the Forge file you downloaded either on your desktop or in your downloads folder, and right-click on it. Then, click ‘open with’, and select ‘Java TM Platform SE Binary’. If you don't have Java TM Platform SE Binary, no worries! You just need to download Java for Minecraft mods and run the Jarfix. When you do that, it will allow you to open Forge.
Once you open Forge 1.15.2 with Java, it will actually open the Forge Mod installer. Here, you just need to click ‘Install Client’, and click ‘okay’. Minecraft Forge will start adding itself to 1.15.2! Once it is finished, it will come up and say ‘Forge 1.15.2 has successfully installed!’. Once it says this, you are done! Forge is installed in Minecraft 1.15.2!
We aren’t done just yet though. We still need to make sure we select the correct version of Forge in Minecraft launcher. To do this, open the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow to the right of the green ‘Play’ button, click on ‘Forge’, and click ‘Play’. At this point, Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with Forge installed!
