How to Start PS5 through the PS App on Phone (Settings Tutorial)
4You can use the PlayStation app on your phone to remotely turn on your PS5. Here’s how:
Sync Your PS5 Console:
First, ensure that your PS5 console is linked to the Remote Play app on your phone.
If you haven’t already, download and install the PlayStation app on your smartphone or tablet.
Sign in with your PSN account on both your console and the app.
Turn On PS5 from the App:
Launch the PS Remote Play app on your phone.
From the middle of the screen, select your PS5 console.
The app will initiate a connection to your PS5 and turn it on.
Once your PS5 is on, you’ll see controller buttons displayed on the screen, allowing you to navigate the home screen.
Turn Off PS5 from the App:
When you’re done with mobile gaming, you can put your PS5 in rest mode to save energy.
Tap the gear icon at the bottom left of the screen.
Then, select Disconnect.
Make sure to check the box next to “Put the connected console in rest mode” to ensure your PS5 goes to sleep.
