How to Enable Intel Virtualization Technology in Windows 10 or 11 Bios Menu (Mobile Gaming PC)
Enabling Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) in the BIOS menu is essential for running virtual machines and emulating different operating systems. Here are the steps to enable it:
Access the BIOS (UEFI):
Restart your computer.
During startup, press the appropriate key to enter the BIOS/UEFI menu. Common keys include F2, F10, F12, or Del. The exact key may vary based on your motherboard manufacturer.
Locate the Virtualization Option:
Navigate to the relevant section in the BIOS. Look for options related to virtualization technology. These options might be labeled differently depending on your processor:
Intel VT-x
VTX
AMDV
SVM
Vanderpool
Enable Virtualization:
Once you find the virtualization option, enable it.
Save your changes and exit the BIOS (usually by pressing F10 or Esc).
Restart Your Computer:
After saving the changes, restart your PC.
Verify Virtualization Status:
Back in Windows, open Task Manager and go to the Performance tab.
Look for the Virtualization option. If it shows as enabled, you’ve successfully enabled virtualization on your PC.
Remember that some Windows 10 PCs and all PCs preinstalled with Windows 11 may already have virtualization enabled, so you might not need to follow these steps. If you encounter any issues, consult your device’s documentation or manufacturer’s support resources for specific instructions
