This feature makes the PS5 automatically turn on as soon as you power on the connected TV without pressing the PlayStation power button, or there is a problem with the PS5’s rest mode. Here are the steps to disable the HDMI device link feature:
Turn on your PS5 and sign in to a user profile.
Go to the home screen and select Settings (gear icon).
Select System.
Select HDMI.
Disable Enable HDMI Device Link.
If the problem persists with your PS5, you might want to check if it’s the rest mode that keeps turning your PS5 on automatically. You can turn off the rest mode feature by following these steps:
Turn on your PS5.
Go to Settings.
Select Power Saving.
Go to Rest Mode Settings.
