To manually place your PS5 into rest mode using the button press, follow these steps:

Press the PS button on your DualSense controller. This will bring up the control center at the bottom of the screen.

Select the power icon in the far right corner of the control center. This will bring up the power menu.
Choose Enter Rest Mode from the power menu. Your PS5 will now enter rest mode.

You can also change your rest mode settings by going to Settings - System - Power Saving and Settings - System - Features Available in Rest Mode.

Please note that you should not unplug your PS5 while it is in rest mode. If you need to unplug your console, be sure to turn it off first
