To remove a friend on your PS5 console, follow these steps:

Press the PS button on your controller to open the control center.
Select Game Base from the bottom toolbar.
Select the Friends tab to view your friends list.
Select the friend you want to remove to open their profile.
Select ••• to open a new menu.

Select Remove from Friends to remove the friend from your friends list.
You can also remove a friend request by following these steps:

Go to the Friends section on your PS5 console.
Select the friend request you want to delete.
Press the Options button on your controller.
Select Delete Friend Request.
