To stream your PlayStation 5 (PS5) gameplay to Discord using Remote Play on a PC, follow these steps:

Enable Remote Play on Your PS5:
On your PS5, go to Settings - System - Remote Play.
Toggle on Enable Remote Play.

To allow Remote Play in Rest Mode, go to Settings - System - Power Saving - Features Available in Rest Mode, and enable Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS5 from Network.

Download and Install PS Remote Play on Your PC:
Visit the official PlayStation website and download the PS Remote Play app for Windows or Mac.
Install the app by following the on-screen instructions.

Sign in with your PlayStation Network (PSN) account. Ensure it’s the same account used on your PS5.

Connect Your PS5 to the Remote Play App:
Ensure your PS5 is powered on or in Rest Mode and connected to the internet.

Launch the PS Remote Play app on your PC.
Select PS5 from the console selection screen. The app will search for your PS5 and connect automatically if on the same network. If prompted, manually pair by entering the code displayed on your PS5 (found in Settings - System -Remote Play - Pair Device).

Set Up Your Controller:
Connect a DualSense, DualSense Edge, or DUALSHOCK 4 controller to your PC via USB or Bluetooth.

For Bluetooth, hold the PS and Create buttons until the controller’s light flashes, then pair it in your PC’s Bluetooth settings.

Configure Remote Play Settings:
In the PS Remote Play app, click Settings to adjust video quality (resolution and frame rate). For smoother streaming, select Smoother Video under Stream Quality and choose the highest resolution and frame rate available (note: higher quality requires a stronger internet connection, ideally 15 Mbps or more). Ensure the Also share application audio toggle is on for sound.
