How to Start PS5 & Launch Game using Phone PlayStation App (Best Method)
12To start your PlayStation 5 and launch a game using the PlayStation App on your phone, follow these steps:
Set Up PS5 for Remote Features:
On your PS5, go to Settings - System -Remote Play and enable Remote Play.
In Settings - System - Power Saving - Features Available in Rest Mode, enable Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS5 from Network.
Ensure your PS5 is linked to your PlayStation Network (PSN) account and connected to the internet.
Open PlayStation App: Download the PlayStation App (iOS 14.0+ or Android 8.0+) from the App Store or Google Play Store. Sign in with your PSN account.
Enable Remote Play in App:
Tap the Settings icon (gear) on the app’s home screen.
Select Remote Play and link your PS5 by following the prompts. The app will detect your console if it’s online or in rest mode.
Turn On PS5:
From the app’s home screen, tap the Remote Play icon or go to Game Library - Console Management.
Select your PS5 and tap Power On to wake it from rest mode.
Launch a Game:
In the app, go to Game Library.
Browse your installed PS5 games, select one, and tap Start or Play to launch it via Remote Play.
