How to Switch your Account in STEAM Settings (Easy Tutorial)
To switch between Steam accounts, you have a few options:
Built-In Steam Account Switcher (Recommended):
Steam now has a built-in account switcher feature, eliminating the need for third-party software. Here’s how to use it:
Boot up Steam.
Tap your profile picture in the top right corner (on the Steam Deck, use the touch screen).
Scroll down and select “Change Account”.
Press the “+” icon to add a new Steam account.
Log in with the details of your second account.
The new user will be saved, and you can select your account before logging into the Steam Deck.
Using Big Picture Mode:
If you prefer using Big Picture Mode, follow these steps:
Log in through one of your accounts and check “Remember my password”.
Launch Big Picture Mode and press the exit icon.
Log out of Big Picture Mode and relaunch it.
Add your second account by entering your Steam username, password, and checking “Remember”.
Now you can switch between accounts easily.
Third-Party Software (TCNO Account Switcher):
If you prefer an external solution, consider using the TCNO Account Switcher, a free and open-source program:
Download, install, and run the program.
Customize settings and check the VAC status of your accounts.
This program is safe, fast, and VAC-proof
