To set up a LAN (wired) connection on your PS5 Pro, follow these steps:

1. Connect the Ethernet Cable
Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the LAN port on the back of your PS5 Pro console.
Plug the other end into an available LAN port on your router or modem.

2. Go to Network Settings
On your PS5 Pro, navigate to Settings - Network.

3. Set Up an Internet Connection
Select Settings - Network - Settings - Set Up Internet Connection.

4. Choose ‘Use a LAN Cable’
In the network setup options, select Use a LAN Cable.
Your PS5 Pro will automatically detect the Ethernet connection and start configuring the network settings.

5. Configure IP and DNS Settings (Optional)
If you need a custom setup (for example, a static IP or custom DNS), select Advanced Settings after choosing the LAN cable option.

Here, you can set up IP address, DNS, MTU, and Proxy Server options manually if necessary. Most users can leave these on Automatic.

6. Test the Connection
Once connected, test your network connection by going to Settings -Network -Connection Status - Test Internet Connection.

This will confirm that your PS5 Pro has internet access through the LAN cable and show your connection speed.
