How to Download Single Player Game Progress from PS4/PS5 on PS5 Pro Console (Easy Tutorial)
5To download your single-player progress (game saves) from a PS4 or PS5 to your PS5 Pro console, you can use either Cloud Storage (PlayStation Plus required) or a USB Drive. Here’s how to do it for each method:
Method 1: Cloud Storage (Requires PlayStation Plus)
If you have PlayStation Plus, you can use cloud storage to transfer game saves. This is ideal for moving progress quickly and easily.
Upload Game Saves to the Cloud on Your PS4 or PS5
On the PS4 or PS5 console where your progress is saved, go to Settings - Saved Data and Game/App Settings - Saved Data (PS4) or Saved Data (PS5).
Select Console Storage - Upload to Cloud Storage.
Choose the game saves you want to transfer and upload them to the cloud.
Download Game Saves from Cloud Storage on the PS5 Pro
On your PS5 Pro, go to Settings - Saved Data and Game/App Settings - Saved Data (PS4) or Saved Data (PS5) - Cloud Storage.
Select Download to Console Storage and choose the saves you want to download to your PS5 Pro.
Verify the Downloaded Progress
Launch the game on your PS5 Pro to ensure your single-player progress is available.
Method 2: USB Drive (For PS4 Saves Only)
If you don’t have PlayStation Plus, you can transfer PS4 game saves via a USB drive. Note that this method doesn’t work for PS5 game saves, as they don’t support USB transfers.

Transfer PS4 Saves to the PS5 Pro
Insert the USB drive into your PS5 Pro console.
Go to Settings - Saved Data and Game/App Settings - Saved Data (PS4)- USB Drive.
Select Copy to Console Storage to transfer the saves.
Verify Your Game Progress
Open the game on your PS5 Pro to confirm that your single-player progress has successfully transferred.
