To turn off 2-step verification (2SV) on your PS5:

On PS5:

Go to Settings (gear icon).
Select Users and Accounts, Account, Security.
Find 2-Step Verification (shows Active).
Select 2-Step Verification, Deactivate or set Inactive.
Enter PSN password to confirm.
Via Browser:

Visit playstation.com, sign in.
Click profile icon, Account Management, Security.
Next to 2-Step Verification (Active), click Edit.
Click Deactivate, enter password, confirm.
