How to Change Color of iPhone Screen & Add Color Filter (Easy Method)
To change the color of your iPhone screen or add a color filter using accessibility settings, you can adjust display accommodations to customize the screen's appearance, such as applying color tints or filters. Here’s how to do it:
Steps to Change Color or Add a Color Filter on iPhone
Open Settings:
Launch the Settings app from your iPhone’s home screen.
Navigate to Accessibility:
Scroll down and tap Accessibility.
Select Display & Text Size under the "Vision" section.
Enable Color Filters:
Tap Color Filters.
Toggle Color Filters to ON.
Choose a filter type from the options:
Grayscale: Removes color, making the screen black and white.
Red/Green Filter: For protanopia (red-green color blindness).
Green/Red Filter: For deuteranopia (another form of red-green color blindness).
Blue/Yellow Filter: For tritanopia (blue-yellow color blindness).
Color Tint: Applies a custom tint across the entire screen.
If you select Color Tint, adjust the Intensity slider to control the strength of the tint and the Hue slider to choose the desired color (e.g., blue, red, green).
Fine-Tune (Optional):
Use the sliders to adjust the intensity and hue to your preference. For example, a low-intensity blue tint can give a cooler screen tone, while a high-intensity red tint creates a warmer look.
Test the filter in real-time as you adjust to see the effect on your screen.
Save or Toggle Off:
Once satisfied, exit the Settings app; the filter will remain active.
To disable, return to Settings - Accessibility - Display & Text Size- Color Filters and toggle Color Filters to OFF.
