To turn off the speaker and microphone on your PS5 DualSense controller, follow these steps:

Press and hold the PS button on the controller to bring up the quick menu.
Use the directional buttons to navigate to the Settings icon.
Select Controller Settings.

Scroll down to the Sound Output setting and select Controller Speaker.
Adjust the volume from here using the slider to the lowest setting.
If you want to mute only party chat, follow these instructions:

Long press the PS button on the controller to bring up the quick menu.
Navigate to In-Game Lobby.
Select Mute.

If you want to disable the microphone permanently, follow these instructions:

Press the PS button on the controller to bring up the quick menu.
Navigate to Sound.
Navigate to Controller Speaker.
Turn it off.
