How to TURN OFF Narrator or Talking Voice on XBOX (BEST METHOD)
0The Narrator, or talking voice, on your Xbox is an accessibility feature that reads text and other elements aloud. It can be turned on or off easily, and there are a couple of methods to do so.
Method 1: The Quickest Shortcut
This is the fastest way to turn Narrator on or off if you're already in a menu.
Open the power menu: Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller until the power menu appears.
Press the Menu button: Press the Menu button (the one with the three horizontal lines) on your controller.
Toggle Narrator: A pop-up menu will give you the option to turn Narrator on or off. Select the option you want.
Method 2: The Settings Menu Method
This method gives you more control and is useful if the shortcut isn't working for you.
Open the Settings menu: Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then navigate to Profile & system Settings.
Go to Accessibility: In the Settings menu, select Accessibility.
Choose Narrator: On the right side of the screen, select Narrator.
Turn Narrator off: You'll see a checkbox for "Narrator on." Uncheck this box to turn off the talking voice
