To unpair a controller from your Xbox One, you can follow these steps:

Press and hold the Xbox button on the controller to turn it on.
Press and hold the Connect button on the Xbox One console until the light on the console starts flashing.
Release the Connect button on the console and then release the Connect button on the controller.

Wait for the controller to turn off.
Turn on the controller again to use it with another console or device.
