Thus, without any more delay, here is how to download and install Minecraft 1.16.5!
The first step of getting the newest version of Minecraft is actually making sure you have the Minecraft Launcher installed. You can see our in-depth guide on getting the Minecraft Launcher in the description above. You have to own Minecraft in order to do this. After you have the Minecraft Launcher downloaded and installed, you will need to login to your Minecraft account. This is pretty basic also.
Once you have the Minecraft Launcher setup, we can update Minecraft to the newest version. Do do this, click the little arrow next to the green play button. You will then see a ‘Latest Release’ version. Click that, and click the green play button. You have now updated Minecraft to the newest version in this case Minecraft 1.16.5.
If you have issues opening up Minecraft 1.16.5, it could be a few things. One issue could be you have too much or not enough RAM dedicated to Minecraft.
