This is by far the best fantasy mob mod I have ever seen in Minecraft. Thus, without anymore delay, here is how to add dragons to Minecraft 1.16.4!
The first step of getting dragons for Minecraft 1.16.4 is actually downloading and installing Forge. Luckily, you can find our in-depth guide for installing Forge in Minecraft 1.16.4 in the description above. It goes over every single step of adding Forge to Minecraft. From where to download it to how you can even troubleshoot potential issues you may have with Forge, that tutorial has helped over a million people get Forge setup.
Now that you have Forge, we can move on to downloading the Minecraft dragons mod. You can find the download link for Ice and Fire: Dragons in the description above. Once you are there, look at the right-hand side and scroll down until you see the ‘Minecraft 1.16’ section. Under that, you will see a 1.16.4 version of Ice and Fire: Dragons. Click the purple download button to the right of this version, and it will start downloading after a few seconds. You will need to keep/save the file depending on your browser.
We aren’t done downloading yet though. We still need to repeat the exact same download process for the Citadel Mod. This is required in order to add in all of the awesome entity Fire and Ice: Dragons has. Once you have it downloaded, we can move on to getting Dragons installed in Minecraft.
To install the Ice and Fire Dragons mod for Minecraft 1.16.4, press the windows key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open up the ‘Run’ app. It the text box in this app, type '%appdata%'. Then, hit enter. This will open your Roaming folder. In your roaming folder, you will find a '.minecraft' folder. Open that, and you should have a 'mods' folder. If you don't have a mods folder, just create one!
Finally, open your mods folder. Once you are in your Minecraft mods folder, just drag-and-drop the Ice and Fire Dragons mod you download and the Citadel Mod into this mods folder. It’s that simple to add dragons to Minecraft 1.16.4.
You aren’t complete done though! You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, select the ‘Forge’ profile, and click Play. You will get a warning. This is normal. Just open up Minecraft anyway. And you will now have mythical creatures in Minecraft 1.16.4.
