and in today's video i'm going to be
showing you how to update your windows
10 system
and how to find the latest update and
download that
and update your system so if you're new
to the channel

so let's get into it what we need to do
is go ahead and open up our internet
browser
and what you want to do is on any search
engine
we're going to go ahead and type windows
10 update
download click enter
and what you want to do is click the
first result
here
the first result that comes up uh 90 of
the time it doesn't matter what search
engine
you're using if you click on the first
result that should take you to this page
here
so from this page you'll see here
download windows 10
it's going to tell you basically what
the update is
for so for this one the last update they
released
was october 2020
so that was a few months back now
um and all you've got to do is go ahead
and
click here the update now box
and that's gonna download the update
here
once that's donated you just click on it
to open
you would click yes
and then it's just going to take a
minute or two to load up the
updating software the update assistant
so you can see that it tells you
if you've got this update installed or
not in my case this pc i'm using does
not currently
you can see here it says this pc is not
currently running
the latest and the most secure version
of windows 10.
this pc is running version 1909
and the latest version is 20h2 and then
what you want to do is go ahead and
click
on to update now i'm not going to do
that on this video because the updates
can
sometimes take uh some time to complete
so obviously in your case you go ahead
and click
update now um but i won't be updating
just yet
i'll probably run that overnight tonight
so i'm going to click on to do not
update now
um obviously if you go ahead and cancel
it's just gonna
give you a confirmation are you sure you
want to cancel the update i'm just gonna
click cancel
you don't want to do this you want to
continue the update and i will be doing
the update myself
just to keep your pc safe and secure
once you've run the update that will
uh bring you up to date basically with
the latest version of windows 10
and all the software and security
