hey guys it's the digital tutor here
with another step-by-step tutorial
in today's video i'm going to show you
how you can go ahead and
change your password for your google
gmail account
if you're new to the channel drop a like

so you don't miss out
so the first thing you want to do is
come and open up your internet browser
and then you want to go ahead and come
across
to gmail.com
and then from here you're just going to
choose the account you want to log into
i'm going to use another account and i'm
going to input the
email here
so once you've got the email for the
account you want to change your password
for
just come down and click next
and on the password screen you want to
come just underneath the box and it says
here forgot password to give that click
so what it's going to do it's going to
ask you to enter the last password you
remember using with this google account
so if you've got a rough idea in your
head of
what your passwords or if you know what
your current password is and
to change then you go ahead and enter
that in there
if for some reason you forgot you can
click down here where it says try
another way
but for this example if i go ahead and
type that in there like so
it's then gonna ask me to check my
sony xperia xz2 which will be the phone
that is linked
to this gmail and i've
just had a notification come through now
on my phone
and i've just got to basically confirm
from my phone that's me signing in so
i've done that and you can see that's um
that's all phrased there and it's now
asking me to create a new
strong passwords that you don't use for
other websites
so that's how you you go ahead and
change it that way
if we go back a step
so i just want to show you if for
example you haven't got this phone
anymore
or you know you you haven't got access
to the phone at the moment
if you look underneath you've got the
tray
just here sorry try another way if you
go ahead and give that a click
and there we are so what's basically
happened
because i've entered the passwords my
current password
it's come up with a message now saying
success you are signed in now
you entered your current password so you
can continue to your google account
and you can still change your password
if you want
to change your password when you get to
this screen don't click continue
if you look underneath it says here
change password
and go ahead and give that a click
and then you want to enter your password
in your current password
and then it's going to come up here with
the
new password screen so you go ahead
and enter something in there obviously
you've got the
eye on off yeah like say
so you can see what you type in
go ahead and confirm that
click change password and it's gonna
come up saying your password was changed
and it's gonna sign you into your gmail
and that will be your password changed
