How To Upload 3 Minute Instagram Reels - Easy Solution | HTG
0Uploading 3-minute Instagram Reels is now possible thanks to Instagram’s updated features, making it easier for creators to share longer content without the platform automatically trimming it. Previously, Instagram had a strict time limit of 60 seconds for Reels, and even when slightly extended, many users experienced automatic cropping or limitations to 90 seconds. However, with recent updates, the platform now supports Reels up to 3 minutes in length.
To take advantage of this feature, the first and most important step is to ensure your Instagram app is updated to the latest version. Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, search for "Instagram," and check if an update is available. Tap "Update" if needed.
Once your app is updated, open Instagram and tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom center of your screen. From there, select the "Reel" option as you would normally do when uploading a video. You can now choose a video file from your gallery that is up to 3 minutes long. Instagram will no longer trim it to under 60 seconds or 90 seconds—it will allow you to upload and share the full length of your clip up to 3 minutes.
