This ep was a weirdly fun romp. It introduces sooo much stuff though and much of it is stuff that... in theory... should be usable later.

That's something that's fun to tinker with, but should be handled carefully as a GM since having players pull it out the next game is probably going to happen.

Having players meet the Cytherians could be a lot of fun though. This was one of the few "fun adventure" episodes in TNG. That could make for a fun game session.
