You've got political intrigue with the Ferengi, Caldonians, Crysalians, and Barzan. So many new places to think about get talked about, that you could visit if you wanted(although the ep doesn't)

Also having a wormhole that moves around could be a fun plot device to having random nonsense episodes in your TTRPG.
