TNG season 3 opens with a highly memorable episode. Namely having one of the worst "Wesley Crusher" eps. Worst is probably the Polywater episode, but this is an ep where the ship nearly gets destroyed because Wesley is messing with stuff for reasons that make no sense.

Adapting this to TTRPG, I think would work best if you focused on having the players trying to fix the carnage and devastation.
