This is an easy ep to modify to make a TTRPG module. You can make it another of Gomtuu's kind, in a different place, maybe even make it a different quadrant. How would Cardassians or Kazon react? I personally suspect the ep was originally written using Klingons and not Romulans. Maybe look at it from a perspective that actually makes sense for Romulans? Seriously, this is the ONLY ep where anyone other than a Klingon uses that "right of vengeance" thing.

Also, there's a lot of room to examine the backstory of Gomtuu's race as well, we have NO idea what his crew even looked like. Sooo much room to ponder the reason this race was in such dire straits.
