PS5 Console: Updated to the latest system software.
iPhone: Running iOS 14 or later.
PlayStation App: Download from the Apple App Store.
PlayStation Network (PSN) Account: Use the same account as your PS5.

Steps to Watch & View PS5 Video Clips on iPhone
Enable Auto-Upload on PS5:
On your PS5, go to Settings - Captures and Broadcasts - Captures.
Turn on Auto-Upload to automatically send screenshots and video clips (up to 3 minutes, 1920x1080 resolution) to the PlayStation App.
Ensure your PS5 stays connected to the internet in rest mode: Go to Settings - System - Power Saving- Features Available in Rest Mode, and enable Stay Connected to the Internet and Enable Turning On PS5 from Network.
Note: Only manual captures (via the Create button) are uploaded, not auto-captures or trophy captures. Clips are available for 14 days in the app.
Install and Set Up the PlayStation App:
Download the PlayStation App from the App Store.
Sign in with the same PSN account used on your PS5.
Link your PS5 to the app:
In the app, go to Settings - Link Console to App.
Follow prompts to scan a QR code or enter a code displayed on your PS5 (Settings - System - Remote Play- Link Device).
Capture Video Clips on PS5:
While playing a game, press the Create button (left of the touchpad) on your DualSense controller.
Select Record Video to capture recent gameplay (up to 3 minutes for app compatibility) or Start Recording for new footage.
Clips are saved to the Media Gallery on your PS5 and, with auto-upload enabled, will sync to the PlayStation App.
View Clips in the PlayStation App:
Open the PlayStation App on your iPhone.
Go to Game Library - Captures.
Browse your uploaded video clips and screenshots. Tap a video clip to watch it directly in the app.
Clips appear within minutes of capture if auto-upload is enabled.
Download Clips for Offline Viewing (Optional):
In the Captures section, select a video clip and tap the Download icon (downward arrow) in the bottom right corner.
The clip saves to your iPhone’s Photos app under Videos in the Media Types section.
Open the Photos app to watch clips offline anytime.
