Requirements

PlayStation App: Installed on your phone (iOS 14.0+ or Android 8.0+), updated to the latest version (v24.9.2 or later recommended for voice chat stability).
Microphone: Your phone’s built-in mic, a headset with a mic, or a Bluetooth audio device (e.g., AirPods, wired earbuds with mic).
Internet: Stable Wi-Fi or mobile data (5 Mbps minimum, 15 Mbps recommended for clear audio). Mobile data may incur charges.
Steps to Join a PS5 Party Chat
Open the PlayStation App:
Download the PlayStation App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Sign in with the same PSN account used on your PS5.
Link Your PS5 to the App (if not already done):
Tap the Settings icon (gear) on the app’s home screen.
Select Link Console to App and follow the prompts to detect your PS5. Alternatively, on your PS5, go to Settings - System - Remote Play - Link Device, then scan the QR code or enter the code manually in the app.
Access Party Chat:
From the app’s home screen, tap the Play tab (controller icon) at the bottom left.
