Ensure Compatibility and Setup:
Confirm your Android phone supports screen mirroring (most Android devices running Android 5.0 or later do).
Ensure your Google TV Streamer is powered on, connected to your TV via HDMI, and both the phone and streamer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Enable Casting on Google TV Streamer:
On your TV, navigate to Settings - Apps - See all apps - Show system apps - Chromecast built-in and ensure it’s enabled.
If prompted, update the Google TV Streamer’s firmware via Settings - System - About - System Update.
Access Screen Mirroring on Your Android Phone:
On your Android phone, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings panel.
Look for a tile labeled Cast, Screen Cast, Smart View, or Screen Mirroring (the name varies by device manufacturer, e.g., Samsung calls it Smart View).
