Returning to Starbound 1.3 mechs now the game's Spacefaring update has arrived, in this video we see what happens to your mech if you chuck it in an ocean of water, acid or lava.

We also try it out against common traps such as burning coals, barbed wire and spinning blades to see if your mech takes any damage. We even try them out against laser beams, something not normally possible in regular gameplay!

Also, we test what happens to a mech when covered in oil, and see how it copes in a dungeon situation. We see if mechs can enter ancient vaults, and discuss how the developers clearly don't want you using your mech in missions such as The Ruin!

Finally, we discover the mythical arcade anomoly, as we continue to put our Cheese Shark mech through its paces in this Starbound 1.3 mech video.
