Kill llamas in giant mech. Hear many llama jokes along the way. Revel in absurdity/stupidity of it all.

That's a decent summary, really. This game definitely does not, and never was meant to, take itself very seriously. Massive herds of lamas are weaponized, and now rampage and destroy cities, and you're the only mech pilot who can stop 'em!

This game is a twin-stick shooter with massive groups of enemies - kill all the waves in an area, progress to the next. It's nothing too unique in this regard, but it's certainly competent. Lots of different weapons to try out, multiple skills, and little optional objectives to complete as you go along.

The jokes either work or they don't work for you. For me, they're just sort of okay. You work for Llamazon for instance, and you're stopping the evil Llamanati, to give you an idea of the caliber of humor here. The key design focus of this game is 'Hey, you know, llamas are pretty funny aren't they? The word llama is funny too. Haha.'

And really...nothing wrong with that! There's a lot of production value to this, with clean models and actually pretty funny videos (the Llamanati is a stupid idea sure, but having a real actor in a llama mask try to be intimidating for a while is actually pretty entertaining).

So you have to understand; I DO call this game stupid, but it's an endearing, intentional sort of stupid. It doesn't completely resonate with my sense of humor, but I can see this being a great deal of fun for a lot of people.

(This reminds me...I need to try Goat Simulator sometime.)
