This game is a surreal, slow-paced, text-heavy experience. I guess you could call it a walking simulator, with some dream-like elements you might see from something like Yume Nikki.

The story is and isn't abstract, however. It follows the journey of a young man through the mind and memories of his dying father, a man he and his mother both hate for abandoning the family. The young man, Yuito, still wants to know more about his father however, but his father is too close to death and in a coma. So Yuito agrees to undergo a procedure to explore his father's memories...though under the knowledge that if he's inside his father's mind when his father passes, he'll die as well.

This game surprised me with how far its story continues off of that concept. By the end of this hour of play I was in an alternate version of Earth, having accidentally left the memories of Yuito's father and spiraled to who knows where, and was trying to solve a political issue in alternate-Earth Chicago. What an odd, odd course of events...

This game is weird, and probably not for everybody, but it really does grab me. It's a truly unique experience, and likely worth your time if you feel like it might be worth a look. It is free, after all!
