In this video we showcase an augment that is probably considered useless, especially on its own - HP Rebound. However, stacking multiple copies of this augment yields astonishing (and even hilarious) results. This augment grants a chance to heal upon taking damage, so using a bunch of HP Rebound augments against a crowd of enemies is bound to trigger many heals. We explore the level of survivability HPR grants through many hordes of enemies, including Joker and his swarm, Cliffside Camp, Breakwater Narrow, etc. This build opens the curtains to a comedy show upon taunting a group of mobs, where you'll smirk at how they struggle to demolish your one-man army, even while you put little to no effort in battle. We also look at how the defense stat affects our survivability, and I must say that due to the nature of this build, it actually does make a difference in survival. Using this build with the skill Electric Flesh also enabled us to kill enemies without drawing any weapons at all, but a better alternative is a counterspike aura, which we also check. Another thing is that HPR is very exploitable with the Barrier buff as it means free heals!

The weakness of this build is that, although it is effective against multi-hitting attacks that do not deal much damage with each hit (could be high total damage divided through many hits), it is poor against attacks that deal a lot of damage with less numbers of hits. We test HPR against Luxaar's Xern and find that even drone eggs are too much for HPR alone to handle simply because each hit damages more than HPR can heal (regardless of drone eggs hitting a lot), so the 500 heal is too low for strong enemies.

Do I recommend this build to someone who wants to effectively and efficiently progress through the game? Not at all, lol. First of all, making just one HPR augment costs 9408 tickets, which is an extremely hefty amount. Farming for the materials isn't much better either. If you want to make 5 of these, you'll need 47040 tickets - even more if you upgrade HPR traits on your gear. If you have a decent setup for farming and/or don't mind farming all these, then you can go ahead and try this. I'd say this build is more for the comedy than the practicality, but it still works well in some situations, especially in crowds to the extent of being able to go fully AFG (Away From Gamepad). Anyways, I've made this video a long one again (oops), so here are the much-needed timestamps:

Be sure to give this video a thumbs up. Please do share it to other XCX players as well; I put quite a lot of effort in this video (as for the other XCX videos too), so any support would be much appreciated! One more thing - thanks for being here and stay tuned for more videos! I might not upload too frequently these days because of university, but I'll try.
