The Sensation 4G is what you called a high powered Android smartphone on the T-Mobile network. When HTC announced the Sensation 4G back in June, we all drooled at the possibilities of the device might have to offer. 3 moths later with device in hand and drooling faded, lets' see what this baby got.
A 4.3 inch qHD Super LCD display with the resolution of 960 x 540, running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 768 MB of RAM. An 8 MP rear Camera that records at 1080p and a front facing camera for video chat. The Sensation 4G comes with 8GB of internal storage, and runs Android 2.2 with Sense 3.0 overlay from HTC. Prior to the review, I received an update to Android 2.3.4; which added some improvements to the whole operating system.
The Sensation 4G is one fast devices, you experience little to no slow downs. I tested the devices with the current update to Android 2.3.4, which adds video chat over Google talk, on the Sensation 4G. There was also a noticeable improvement on battery performances, with battery life last up to 8hrs on a full charge
Conclusion
The Sensation 4G from HTC is a device you can go wrong with; from its glorious 4.3" qHD screen to it well round 8MP camera that records at 1080p. The Sensation 4G has a lot going for it, granted it is a premier Android device. Yes there are still set backs to this high powered offense you see here, though not much. One thing I can point to is Sense UI itself. Granted there are no slow downs or issues of that sort. Sense 3.0 seems to take you away from the Android experience rather than bring you in. Other than that the HTC Sensation 4G is a Super fast super efficient Android powered device that bring an ultra sleek experience to the consumers hands
