So last Wed Tuesday I put up a rant video about my defective G2s and T-mobiles customer service. You can read the full details in the hyperlink. But the short version is this: I had 4 failed G2s and T-mobile's customer service wasn't going to let me get a device of my choosing. It seemed T-mobile heard my complaining, two days later I was contacted by a T-mobile rep who was kind enough to resolve my issue through the appropriate channels. Apply me to change my device from the problem riddle G2 to the fresh new mytouch 4G Slide. Which is the latest Smartphone device on the T-mobile Network with a host of New Features that most importantly consists of an 8MP camera that T-Mobile claims to be the best camera on a Smartphone.

So my Rant video turned into the unboxing of the mytouch 4G Slide. Which is a 4G capable device which is powered by a 1.2Ghz Dual-core processor from Qualcommm. 8Gb of storage via microSD. A Front facing camera, and 8MP camera that records at 1080p and features shooting modes in (Burstshot & Clearshot HDR).

The mytouch 4G Slide sports a 3.7" Super LCD display, with physical buttons for Home, menu, back & genius button. It also sports an optical track-pad. The device has well rounded edges with a soft rubberized plastic cover for the back of the device. The rear 8Mp camera has a 3.69mm lens with dual LED flash. The mytouch 4G Slide does come with a full four row QWERTY keyboard, with soft rubber keys that are backlit . The device feels heavier than you expect, but its nothing you can't get used to. We will put the devioce through its paces and give you a run down of how well it functions.
