I highlighted a few 4X games I was interested in via my last channel update, but then Humankind got delayed until August 17th. Well, better to be the game Amplitude Studios means for it to be than to just shove it out the door. There is a lot that is familiar here, especially if you've played Civilization or any of the Endless games. However, this game in particular aims to be more than the sum of its parts. There is a lot to dive into with this video but for now I stick with answering a question that I have gotten from more than a few people: what kind of game IS Humankind. Let's dig in.
