Huntsman Altimor Raid Guide - Normal/Heroic Huntsman Altimor Castle Nathria Boss Guide
3,959Huntsman Altimor Normal and Huntsman Altimor Heroic guide! Huntsman Altimor is a raid boss in the Castle Nathria raid of Shadowlands. This Huntsman Altimor boss guide will show you the Huntsman Altimor abilities that you'll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the Huntsman Altimor fight. Mythic Huntsman Altimor has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Huntsman Altimor guide. Footage of Huntsman Altimor for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Castle Nathria raid releases on live servers starting December 8th.
The key to Huntsman Altimor is to cleave, while prioritizing damage on the current Gargon. Damage taken by one is copied to the other, and when all three Gargons are done Altimor will take increased damage. Altimor himself will aim Sinseeker at a few players- nobody else should be in line with them when it goes off. Fanning out around Altimor will reduce the damage taken from Spreadshot by the raid.
Against Margore, tanks should swap (trading Margore and Altimore) when the Jagged Claws bleed starts to hurt. When a player is targeted by Vicious Lunge, several others should stack with them to help soak the Vicious Lunge attack.
Against Bargast, when he summons Shades of Bargast you need to spam as much CC as possible on them and kill them. For Rip Soul, prepare by topping up the Bargast tank and having them distanced from Altimor before the Rip Soul cast. Once Rip Soul spawns a friendly add, healers need to top it before it reaches Altimor.
Against Hecutis, the tank will alternate standing still and dragging Hecutis around to manage stacks of Crushing Stone. Moving will shed stacks, but also cause raid damage so do so carefully. Players targeted by Petrifying Howl need to run to the edge to drop off their Stone Shards pools safely.
On Heroic Huntsman Altimor, the Rip Souls get a raid damage component and the Vicious Lunge soak attack gains a bleed.
