Hustle Muscle 8 Bit Remix - Kinnikman Nisei (Second Generations)
i still have not read nisei nor have i read kinnikuman 2011. part of me is a bit worried that reading either will sour my opinion on the series as a whole, kinda like how fist of the north star post-timeskip was awful. if any kinnikuscholars out there can let me know if i should read either at all, i'd appreciate it. i'm dearly dearly hoping that the upcoming new kinnikuman adaptation doesn't draw in the new gay anime audience that i keep complaining about and doesn't pull any punches in regard to the humor and shit. if all it'll be is a more direct adaptation of the manga i'd be super down for that. the sheer manly themes of friendship and wrestling will probably be enough to drive away the modern anime audience that only likes shit that is le deep and has le realistic portrayals of characters. yknow that really pisses me off, that nobody can take a truly good hearted character seriously in media anymore. again, however, that is simply another filter for the kinds of people i would want gatekept from kino like kinnikuman and such. it bothers me that people refer to genuine heroic behavior in media as "unrealistic" because to some extent it shows just how much people have lost faith in man. it shouldn't be the case that "realistic" behavior automatically equals "good" because of course it doesn't, most people would take the opportunity to steal if they never had repercussions for it. it's the few who carry a strong moral code of what is right and what is wrong that carry society on their backs. it shouldn't be that people look at good people and turn to say "ah, what unrealistic behavior. surely any man like that is just lying to himself." because everybody has the capacity to be good in some way. to assume that choosing to do the right thing even when everyone else is choosing to do the wrong thing is just one lying to himself is just idiotic. morals are a very interesting thing especially today. it is more or less impossible to have proper morals without religion of any sort. yet atheists will still choose to state that they do indeed have a moral code, but clam up when you ask what those are founded upon. buddists, muslims, christians, taoists, all practitioners of any have solid foundations of which to build their sense of good and evil upon. sure, they are all different in some capacity, sometimes vastly so, but it stands that the ideals of man are founded upon religion. the ideals of right and wrong are ideas that have been shaped since man stopped being bumbling drooling chimpanzees and are even commonly understood by third world commuinities removed from modern society, often, actually, they probably have stronger moral codes that first worlders. the spread of atheism is a fucking plague, i'll tell you what. it's easily the most idiotic of ideologies yet the agnostic will try to spin it as some kind of hyper smart bullshit by using le science and le philosophy to back it up. it takes a lot more, time, energy, and balls to put your faith in a god or series of gods depending on your religion and to take it seriously. atheists as people are perfectly fine people though. all man is created in the eyes of god and i know atheists who are really cool. there's a sharp distinction between questioning agnostic and full agnostic, though. everyone who wants to tackle to issues of life go through the questioning agnostic phase. some mature out of it, and some stay content with believing what they believe, and that's fine. at the end of the day, we're all men living life, together. the main difference is in what it is that the individual is living for. living for the christian god is what is for me, and i live that out in different ways that every other christian. i know i have my shortcomings, too, i'm an overly crude man, most notably.
i'm just now realizing that this is probably comically boring for most people but honestly that's just most of my video descriptions but instead of talking about sonic the hedghog today i'm talking about being a good man in a world that is becoming less and less likely to believe such a prospect.
hey yknow what day it is today? funny 9 day, yeah, but also today the is the dreamcast anniversary date. play some good dreamcast stuff today if you find the time. pull out the ol fishing controller and play get bass or whatever. me personally, of course i'm gonna play sonic adventure 1, l8r. greatest game ever made, baby. one of the things i appreciate most about sa1 is how short each character story is. sonic can be beaten is less than two hours on a very casual playthrough and the playtime just gets shorter from there. my least favorite sa1 character is probably knuckles, because FUCK emerald hunting. seriously, i never liked that shit. big is more fun than knuckles. im running out of space but before i go here is the official eggo76 ranking of sa1 stories from best to worst:
sonic-amy-gamma-tails-big-knux
this is the OBJECTIVELY correct ranking!!!!!!
have a grand day, gentlemen.
