Playthrough | Finale: A True End for Gamindustri
We already got the Normal Ending. But now we're set to get the really good stuff. Want to know? Well here we go.
Before I explain, I was able to raise Lowee's Shares to 50%. As such, I unlock the ability to get Rom and Ram. They are twin sisters to Blanc. Just wanted to share this by the way.
Anyway, now we get to the main focus. In order to get the true ending in this game, shares within Planeptune, Lastation, Leanbox & Lowee must be AT LEAST 20% while shares in Others have to be 0%. By this point, you should be able to do repeated quests to hit this goal. Once you fulfill this requirement, you get access to the true ending.
We take on the final boss again but it isn't until it reaches the third and final phase. What happens is that Arfoire REFUSES to give up. Histoire apologizes for failing to save her. Arfoire plans to take everyone with her. She begins to grow even more powerful but Neptune aka Purple Heart is determined to stop her. Or rather, she wants to save Arfoire. She needed the power of the goddess so that she could have the strength to take care of the four Goddesses. So she asks her many allies to get out of there. Neptune plans to take her down herself. She promises everyone especially Compa and IF that she would return. As for everyone else, they pray for Neptune hoping that she will succeed. That and praying for Arfoire as well. Their prayer became strength for Neptune.
Now begins Phase 3, the real final phase. Normally, you would have to fight her alone. But if you have any added characters that you got via DLC, the fight can be a bit easier. But if you're high leveled then this final phase is a joke. That's what I did fortunately. Arfoire is then defeated and the world is saved.
We get an epilogue that is set one year after the final battle. Celestia is gone and Gamindustri is now at peace. Histoire travels to each of the four lands to see how things have changed. Plus if you have the added candidates (Nepgear, Uni, Rom & Ram) they get a scene too. Histoire heads to Compa's place and surprise surprise, Neptune has returned. Turns out she survived as is someone else... Arfoire. Arfoire is back to her normal self and she apologizes for everything she did. She vows to set things right in hopes of making amends. Not only that but at the end, you get an extended thank you from the entire cast of Neptunia Re;Birth1.
Thus, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 comes to a close. The game is fun but I recommend you take your time with the game. Believe me, you'll enjoy every bit of it as I have. I only wished that Nintendo of America weren't so puritanical and allow this game to be released. If that happened, I wouldn't have complained.
